An item by The Saratogian has profiled Hall of Fame driver Wally Hennessey, who has commented on how he has reduced the amount of time that he spends following the New York Sire Stakes scene from stop to stop.
“The travelling wore me down,” Hennessey was quoted as saying. “It’s hard to keep at it for months at a time. One night you’re in Buffalo driving a few and the next you’re in Yonkers. The money was good and I did well but those days are done.”
In addition to shining the spotlight on Hennessey, the article also focuses on Thirtyeightspecial, a gelding that the accomplished reinsman recently claimed.
