Recent reports from Canada's newest harness racing track illustrate the progress on the grandstand at Alberta Downs

The Red Deer Advocate reports that the grandstand, pictured here, will hold 1,500 people when completed this spring.
Canada's only one-mile oval, Alberta Downs is slated to hold a total 53 days of racing in 2010 - 50 of those days being harness racing through the summer up until August 29.
