According to a report by the Asbury Park Press, Dennis Drazin has been nominated to be appointed the head of the New Jersey Racing Commission
.
Drazin, 58, has reported been nominated by outgoing New Jersey governor Jon S. Corzine.
Drazin, who has been president of the New Jersey Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association for the past five years. is expected to take over as the panel's chairman, replacing former chairman John J. Tucker, who has left the board.
