Not Much Consensus In Ohio

According to a report by The Columbus Dispatch, roughly 200 people turned out for a Greater Hilltop Area Commission meeting in Ohio to gauge neighborhood opinion on

issues surrounding casino locations.

The article states that mayor Michael B. Coleman's suggested that casino developers abandon plans for an Arena District location and instead consider two sites on the Hilltop.

The report states that there was not much consensus from the commission voters or the robust crowd in attendance. The commission ultimately voted 7-6 to endorse either of two Hilltop locations for the location of the casino.

It is expected that racetrack owner Penn National Gaming Inc. will be developing a casino at one of the locations.
