Soho Burning Love A ($4.80) rallied from off the pace to win Wednesday night's (Jan. 5) $25,000 Mares Open Pace at Dover Downs.

After sitting fourth behind a contested :26.2 first quarter that saw Shes Pukka N clear from post 8 before yielding the lead to even-money favourite So Miki Hanover, Tim Tetrick pulled Soho Burning Love A first-over nearing a :54.4 half and advanced up the backstretch. The daughter of Auckland Reactor N engaged So Miki Hanover to three-quarters in 1:23.1 before surging to the front in the stretch and winning by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:51. So Miki Hanover (Montrell Teague) finished second; Shes Pukka N (George Napolitano Jr.) was third from the pocket.

Jim King Jr. trains Soho Burning Love A for JoAnn Looney-King, Brian Carsey and Jeff Fought Racing. The feature win was one of three on the card for Tetrick.

Racing returns to Dover Downs on Thursday (Jan. 6) with a $4,580 carryover in the Pick-5 (races 6-10), a Blue Hen/Open Handicap Pace headlining the action, and first post at 4:30 p.m.
