Who Doesnt ended the 2013 racing season at Northland Park with a victory in the top class and quickly returned to his winning ways in Edmonton's first Open of the new year on a frigid Saturday afternoon.

Despite a gate malfunction after the third race preventing the wings of the starting car from extending, the remainder of the card was staged under careful watch of officials for a safe start in each race.

Who Doesnt front-stepped his way to a 1:57.3 triumph over the frozen track in the $9,000 feature for Northlands' leading trainer and driver Travis Cullen. He paid $8.90 to win as the 7-2 second choice.

Raging Fingers, driven by Brandon Campbell, out-sprinted insider Who Doesnt off the gate, but last week's winner quickly took over command at the opening quarter mark, reached in :28.4. Who Doesnt proceeded to lead his seven rivals through middle splits of :59.2 and 1:28.4 before kicking home in :28.4 to hold off the oncoming Timberline Court and Gerry Hudon by one and a half lengths. Favourite Smooth Criminal and Bill Tainsh Jr. finished third.

The five-year-old Mach Three gelding is owned by Cullen and partners Jeanne, Kenneth and Jodie Cullen.

Cullen ended the day with two wins while Marjorie Dumont lead all trainers on the 11-race card, teaming with J.F. Gagne for with a triple. Bill Tainsh Jr. also drove three winners.
