If you aren’t able to attend the 2017 O’Brien Awards Black Tie Gala, you can still enjoy the event via Standardbred Canada’s social media channels and video streaming on standardbredcanada.ca this Saturday night.
To kick the night off we have “Red Carpet” coverage of the reception with our Red Carpet Host, Kelly Spencer on Standardbred Canada’s website and Facebook page, live from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (EST) Kelly will be interviewing some of the finalists and special guests as they arrive on the Red Carpet for the Gala.
Starting at approximately 9:00 p.m. (EST) you can watch the 2017 O’Brien winners receive their awards live from the comfort of your own home. You’ll be able to watch the award presentations live via video stream exclusively on standardbredcanada.ca. A link to the video will be available before the awards on Saturday night.
The online stream is brought to you in part by Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals ~ Effective Supplements Through Science. The awards presentations are estimated to last for 60 - 75 minutes.
The streaming is being made possible by Standardbred Canada, in co-operation with Woodbine Entertainment Group, who produces the O’Brien Awards video that honours the finalists.

The 2017 O’Brien Awards are scheduled for Saturday, February 3 at the Hilton Mississauga / Meadowvale Hotel and will feature an Academy Awards theme.
The O'Briens will be hosted by Ken Middleton and Jason Portuondo, with Juno Award nominee Heather Bambrick singing the national anthems. The Marc Joseph Band, one of Toronto’s best event bands will be taking the stage after the awards presentations and provide dance music until 1:00 a.m.
