The fifth teletheatre of the Quebec Jockey Club network will open today (Wednesday, January 30) in Laval.
Located on Le Corbusier Blvd. in the premises of the former Laval Hippo-Club, which used to be one of Quebec’s busiest, Café-Course Laval is co-owned by Guy Corbeil and Alexandre Morin, two QJC directors.
“It’s going to be chic and sporty,” said Corbeil. “We want to maintain a high standard.”
Laval is the latest in a series of teletheatre openings that began last June with Place Dupuis in Montreal. Boucherville, Quebec City, and Pointe-aux-Trembles already are open. Pointe Claire and Cote St. Luc (near the former Hippodrome de Montreal) will follow in the next few months, along with Sherbrooke, Chateauguay and Gatineau.
