The connections of Captain Ahab have retired the pacer from the racetrack and will stand him at stud for the 2020 breeding season.

Pin Oak Lane Farm has announced that Captain Ahab (Captaintreacherous-Acquavella) will stand in Pennsylvania at their New Freedom farm. The 2020 fee is $3,500 with a discount fee of $2,500 for multiple mares.

Captain Ahab, p,2,1:50.4s ($142,969), is the second foal out of the Western Ideal mare Acquavella, who is a full sister to 2014 Metro Pace champion Artspeak. Captain Ahab set his mark as a two-year-old while defeating Captain Crunch in an elimination of the 2018 Metro Pace.

Other impressive career victories included wins in a leg and the final of the 2018 Dream Maker at Woodbine Mohawk Park, and before that, two legs of the Kindergarten at The Meadowlands.

Pin Oak Lane Farm, located in southern York County near New Freedom, Pa., is a full-service horse farm and equine veterinary centre that is owned and managed by William J. Solomon, VMD.
