Perfect Rendition set all the fractions in the Friday feature at Buffalo Raceway, and that proved to be the winning move as the pacer struck for the second straight start.
Going off as the 1-5 favourite, Perfect Rendition battled with Northern Matador and City Kid through the first quarter and tripped the timer in :29.1. Driver Larry Stalbaum and Perfect Rendition cleared and set the marks the remainder of the race.
At the top of the stretch City Kid who was sitting in the pocket broke stride and Perfect Rendition cruised to the win by 2-1/2 lengths over Love You Forever (Ray Fisher, Jr.). Chelseas Chance (Kevin Cummings) finished third.
Racing will continue at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday night with the first post scheduled for 6 p.m.
