Dismissed by the bettors at 21-1, Eternal Revenue, a six-year old Artiscape gelding, out of the No Nukes mare Eternal Sweetheart, won the $5,000 featured pace in 1:59.2, for the Ultra Racing Stable, at Buffalo Raceway Wednesday night
Eternal Revenue ($44.20), with driver Jimmy Whisman in the sulky, made a strong backside brush to overtake the favourite in the race, Tessters Odd Sock (Rick Magee), who finished third, after leading for most of the race. Wild West Grin (Tom Agosti) finished second, one-half length behind the winner.
Trained by Cliff Keene, it was the first win in two attempts this year for Eternal Revenue and the $2,500 share of the winning purse put his lifetime bankroll at $115,053.
