Veteran gelding Dreydl Hanover continues to thrive among the $7,000 claiming ranks at Flamboro Downs as he recorded his sixth consecutive victory on Thursday night (Jan. 26).
Driver Colin Kelly floated into third with the 13-year-old Cams Card Shark gelding and stalked a tempo of :29 and :59.1 set by Hercule J M. Kelly launched the Raphael Bourassa trainee into action to three-quarters in 1:28 and overpowered the pacesetter in the lane to win by two lengths in 1:57.1. American Sniper finished third, another four lengths behind, with pocket-sitter Prince Adiran fading to fourth.
Francois Morin owns Dreydl Hanover, who won his 34th race from 278 starts and has now earned $256,411. He paid $2.30 to win.
