After disappointing as the favourite eight days ago in the featured dash for distaffers in London, Rolltideroll bounced back with a blowout score in Thursday’s $7,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 at Flamboro Downs.
In rein to J.R. Plante, Rolltideroll shot to the lead from Post 4 and made every call a winning. She posted panels of :28, :57 and 1:26.1 over a track rated ‘Good’ with a two-second variant before using a :30.2 closing quarter to win by 3-1/4 lengths over Windsong Glamorous in 1:56.3. Ground Shaker finished third.
Trainer Isaac Waxman shares ownership on the seven-year-old daughter of Jennas Beach Boy-Shakinitothelimit with Brenda Selwyn Waxman of Dundas, Ontario. The former claimer, who was sent off as the 1-2 favourite, is now 3-for-4 this season. The 25-time winner has banked close to $155,000 to date.
