Charlie Peake Passes

Trot Insider has learned that Charlie Peake passed on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at the Peterborough (Ont.) Regional Health Centre at the age of 77.

Through much of the current decade, Peake campaigned a one- or two-horse stable and competed primarily at Kawartha Downs. Peake's starters won 84 races and earned just over $330,000.

Peake, a longtime member of Standardbred Canada, is survived by four sisters, five children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
