Twin B Inspiring went first over to defeat Ontario Sires Stakes graduate Sports Chic in Saturday night's featured $10,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Handicap Pace at Flamboro Downs.
As Sports Chic, the 9-5 bettors' choice, left for the lead, Twin B Inspiring backed into a five-hole during a :28.1 opening quarter. Twin B Inspiring then launched her challenge as the field came off the turn into the stretch and approached the half-mile mark in :57.4.
