Year-end stats are in and the 2008 track titles are now confirmed. Trot Insider has compiled a list of the top Canadian drivers and trainers by wins and money from each racetrack across the country.
Brad Forward topped all Canadian drivers with 582 wins this year while Jody Jamieson earned the money title banking $8,704,963 in purses. On the training side, Richard Moreau ranked number one on the list with 194 victories while Bob McIntosh was the top money-earning trainer grossing $4,123,284 in purses.

Congrats to all the drivers and trainers on their accomplishments in 2008. Nice to see that Newfoundland born trainer John Janes was the winner of top money earner and most wins titles in the trainer catagory at Flamboro. Especially proud to see my nephew, Newfie born driver Brad Forward, finish the year with 582 wins. Brad finished first in most wins and most money earned catagories at five or six tracks where he competed. John and Brad's success can be attributed to their hard work and dedication and the great support they receive from their families. Way to go guys, we are very proud of you both. Continued success to you both in 2009 and beyond.
