Standardbred Canada is excited to announce that the annual O’Brien Awards silent auction will once again be available online for bidding, beginning Monday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. (EST) and closing Monday, Feb. 7, at 9 p.m. (EST).
The online silent auction features over 90 items, including sports memorabilia, horse collectibles, jewelry, travel accommodations, original artwork, electronics and much more.
Some of the most coveted items up for grabs include:
• A signed limited edition print of Somebeachsomewhere by Canadian equine artist Linda Shantz
• Mike Smith hand-signed photograph of Zenyatta, 2008 and 2009 Breeders' Cup champion
• Toronto Maple Leafs vintage white jersey hand-signed by 11 members of the 1967 Maple Leafs Stanley Cup-winning team
• Secretariat, 1973 Triple Crown champion, Ron Turcotte signed 8x10 classic colour photograph
• Toronto Raptor superstar and NBA champion OG Anunoby autographed basketball
• Stanley Cup champion Guy Lafleur autographed Montréal Canadiens jersey
Proceeds will benefit Standardbred Canada’s educational partnerships related to horse health and welfare.
