It has been reported that on Tuesday, January 18 a bankruptcy judge gave the green light for the sale of Rosecroft Raceway to take place on January 28
.
According to a blog post by Hanah Cho of The Baltimore Sun, prospective operators will have the chance to outbid the offer of Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos.
Earlier this month, Angelos announced his bid of $9 million in cash and an additional $5 million if expanded gaming becomes reality via referendum and is up and running by December 2012.
