The president of the Maryland Senate, Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr., has given his full blessings and support to Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos in his bid to buy shuttered Rosecroft Raceway
.
Angelos has bid $9 million, and would pony up another $5 million if a racino is in operation at the track by the end of 2012.
Miller says it makes no sense for Marylanders to be gambling in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
More information on Miller's support of Angelos' Rosecroft bid can be found here.
