Red Shores has launched its version of harness racing fan’s choice awards.
The ballot, which can be found in the on-track race program, gives fans an opportunity to vote for their favourite local horse in several categories from 2013.
The ballot also includes a chance for fans to vote for their favourite trainer and driver on Prince Edward Island.
Here are the categories:
• Two-Year-Old Pacer
• Three-Year-Old Pacer
• Two-Year-Old Trotter
• Three-Year-Old Trotter
• Aged Pacer
• Aged Mare
• Aged Trotter
• Driver
• Trainer
Fans can fill out the ballot and drop it in the ballot drum at Red Shores. Names will be entered for a chance to win merchandise and lunch buffet for two.
The winners will be announced following the February 1 program.
