Millionaire pacing stallion Check Six will have a new home for the 2024 breeding season.
The Equine Spa LLC has announced that Check Six p,1:48.1 ($1,670,029) will stand in Iowa for the 2024 season.
After standing in Indiana for the last four years, the 11-year-old stallion will be standing at The Equine Spa combined with veterinarian services provided by Abrahams Equine Clinic and Dr Sierra Philipp.
Sired by Somebeachsomewhere out of Southwind Vanna, Check Six earned multiple Grand Circuit stakes wins, including the $325,000 Dan Patch Stakes in 2017 at Hoosier Park, where he took his lifetime mark of 1:48.1. Other major victories included the $224,000 Sam McKee Memorial in 2017 and the $200,000 Monument Circle in 2016.
