Moments Of Joy and My Last Bet left alertly for early position to the quarter. My Last Bet and Montrell Teague rushed back to the top as Moments Of Joy accepted the pocket. My Last Bet broke the beam at the quarter in :26.4, and continued on the lead to the half in :55.3.
Edge Of Eternity moved first over past the half and pressured My Last Bet through the three quarters in 1:23.4. In the stretch, Victor Kirby and Moments Of Joy saved every inch of ground on the pegs and won by three-quarter lengths in 1:52.4.
Moments Of Joy is owned and trained by Bryan Truitt. The daughter of Western Terror paid $9.00 to win.
Edge Of Eternity eventually wore down pacesetter My Last Bet and finished second for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. and driver Corey Callahan. Scuola Hanover finished a fast closing third for trainer Andrew Stafford and driver Art Stafford Jr.
