Despite Millennium Gaming’s efforts to bring slot machines to Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire, it appears that the expanded gambling legislation required to do so will not be passed
.
An article in gamingtoday.com reports that the New Hampshire House Speaker doubts there will be sufficient votes to pass expanded gambling in that state.
While slots legislation may be approved in the Senate, based on past votes it is only expected to generate minimal support in the House.

I spent the day at rockingham park in the summer it was a nice racetrack with alot of history.I spoke to some people who worked there for years and they were very excited about the future this news is very sad.I dont think harness racing can afford to lose tracks like these.
