Five For Forward At London

Driver Brad Forward was a force to be reckon with on Tuesday afternoon. The nation’s leading driver for wins last year added five more to his record at Western Fair Raceway

Forward picked up his first win in the fourth race aboard Humphrey (2:03) for trainer Richard Rivard. The native of Goulds, Newfoundland was back in the winner’s circle just two races later with the Wayne Preszcator pupil, Pw True To You (2:03.2).

Trained by Tim McFadden, Careys Prime Time (2:03) gave Forward a hat trick in the eighth race, but the 37-year-old reinsman didn’t stop there. Forward scored in Race 10 with Twin B Sporty (2:06.4) for trainer Paul Farrell and followed it up with another victory for Preszcator in Race 11 with Private Splendor (2:03.3).

Forward recorded 582 wins last year with over $3.9 million in earnings. So far this year his win total stands at 16 with over $78,000 in purses.
