The numbers are in from Sunday's Ultimate Racing Championship – Rookie Vs. The Champ at Rideau

Carleton Raceway.

According to NCRHHA spokesperson Sharla Daley, over $1,200 was raised for the Christina Polifroni Memorial Scholarship Fund. Fans bought raffle tickets to win betting vouchers and a 50/50 draw was held as well.

On the racetrack, it was ‘The Champ,' Darrell Coville, who prevailed in the URC, outpointing 'The Rookie,' Maxime Audet, in the final dashes.

The success of the night would not have been possible without the efforts of the NCRHHA, in particular directors John Macmillan, Gordon McDonald and Russ Moulton.

More special events are planned by NCRHHA over the upcoming winter months.
