Win A Share Of A Racehorse!

The Ontario Sires Stakes Win A Share contest kicked off on August 15 and continues to September 12 at racetracks hosting OSS events. If you haven’t or can’t attend an event and wish to enter the contest, you can enter online at standardbredcanada.ca from today until September 12.

If you have completed and entered a ballot at one of the OSS events, you do NOT need to complete an online entry. The contest is limited to one ballot entry per person.

This is the third consecutive year that Standardbred Canada and the Ontario Sires Stakes are partnering on the contest and the winner will receive a share in the LandMark 13 Stable ownership group. The share is valued at $2,000 and will include at least one Ontario-sired yearling.

The contest is available to Ontario residents who have never owned a Standardbred before and complete a ballot at any racetrack hosting an Ontario Sires Stake event between August 15 and September 12, or complete an online ballot on standardbredcanada.ca starting September 1, and closing on September 12.

During the week of September 16, ten entrants will be drawn as contest finalists to participate in an on-track showdown to determine the ‘Win a Share’ champion on October 5 during the OSS Grassroots Championship night at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

One OSS Grassroots Championship race will be selected and the 10 finalists will each be paired with one of the starters. The finalist paired with the winning horse will win the “Win A Share” contest and the share in Landmark 13 Stable, just in time to go horse shopping at the 2019 edition of the London Selected Yearling Sale on October 19 and 20.

Residents of Ontario only. Must be 18 years of age or older. No purchase necessary. Some restrictions may apply. To read the contest rules, click here.
