If you’ve dreamed of owning a racehorse, but have never taken the leap into ownership, this is the contest for you!
Standardbred Canada and the Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) are pleased to announce that the ‘Win a Share in a Racehorse’ contest is now officially open! The contest is available to enter online on standardbredcanada.ca starting today until September 10 (see online ballot below). The contest winner will receive a share in the LandMark 14 Stable ownership group. The share is valued at $2,000 and will include at least one Ontario-sired yearling.
The contest is available to Ontario residents who have never owned a Standardbred before and complete the online ballot (below).
During the week of September 14, ten entrants will be drawn at random as contest finalists. One OSS Grassroots Championship race will be selected from the OSS Grassroots Championship night race card at Woodbine Mohawk Park on October 10.
Each of the 10 finalists will be paired with one of the starters from the selected race. The finalist paired with the winning horse will win the “Win A Share” contest and the share in Landmark 14 Stable, just in time to go horse shopping at the 2020 edition of the London Virtual Yearling Sale on October 18 and 24.
