Terms and Conditions
1. The Standardbred Canada (SC) Xtreme On The Number Challenge will be conducted from Monday, November 15, 2010 to Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., EST. No purchase is necessary. There is no cost to register. Contest is open to anyone who is 18 years or older as of the date of registration and have Internet access at time of registration. The contest is void in whole where prohibited by law.
2. The contest winner will be the person who has selected the number which corresponds with the total of the numbers of the horses finishing in first, second and third in the Xtreme Sprint Championship and Xtreme Enduro Championship. In the event that no one selects the correct number, the person who selects the closest number, without going over will be declared the winner.
(for example, in the Sprint, horses 1,5, 6 finish first second and third and in the Enduro, horses 11, 3 and 8 finish first second and third. The winning number would be 34. )
3. In the event of a scratch after final changes are made, contestants who choose the scratched horse will automatically receive the post-time favourite in place of that selection.
4. Winner will be contacted via e-mail at the e-mail address or phone provided on the form.
5. Submissions with incomplete, bogus or invalid names and/or e-mail addresses will not be accepted.
6. Only one entry will be accepted per individual and one per e-mail address. Multiple entries will be cause for immediate disqualification. SC reserves the right to disqualify any contestant which SC believes has submitted more than one entry.
7. Employees and immediate family of Standardbred Canada, Georgian Downs and any provincial racing commission are not eligible for this contest.
8. No faxed, mailed, electronically mailed, or phoned-in entries are allowed.
9. SC assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, ineligible or mutilated entries. SC is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable hardware or software or telephone transmission or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmission or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of SC and will not be returned.
10. SC reserves the sole right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this contest.
11. Anything not covered in these rules will be ruled on by the management of SC and their decision will be final and binding.
12. Contestants, by entering the contest, agree to be bound by the above rules and regulations.
Prize
The winner will receive a gift certificate for dinner for two at the Canadian Racetrack of his or her choice.
