1. The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club’s Welcome To Winter Online Handicapping Contest will be conducted from Friday, November 10 to Saturday, November 11, 2017, with entry open until 12:00 p.m. (EST). No purchase is necessary. There is no cost to register. Contest is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older as of the date of registration, is an I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club member and has Internet access at time of registration. The contest is void in whole where prohibited by law.
2. The winner will be the player with the highest bankroll based on a $2 win and $2 place mythical wager on the horses he/she selects for the chosen races at Fraser Downs Racetrack at Elements Casino, Flamboro Downs, Woodbine Racetrack and Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by blind draw.
3. In the event of a scratch after final changes are made, contestants who selected the scratched horse will automatically receive the post-time favourite.
4. In the event that 50 percent or more of the races in the contest are cancelled the contest will be closed.
5. The winner will be contacted via e-mail at the e-mail address or phone provided on the form.
6. Submissions with incomplete, bogus or invalid names and/or e-mail addresses will not be accepted.
7. Only one entry will be accepted per individual and one per e-mail address. Multiple entries will result in immediate disqualification. SC reserves the right to disqualify any contestant which SC believes has submitted more than one entry.
8. Employees, Directors and immediate family who reside at the same residence as employees from Standardbred Canada, Fraser Downs, Flamboro Downs, Woodbine Racetrack, Red Shores Racetrack at CDP or any provincial racing commission employees are not eligible for this contest.
9. No faxed, mailed, electronically mailed, or phoned-in entries are allowed.
10. SC assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, ineligible or mutilated entries. SC is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable hardware or software or telephone transmission or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmission or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of SC and will not be returned.
11. SC reserves the sole right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this contest.
12. Anything not covered in these rules will be ruled on by the management of SC and their decision will be final and binding.
13. Contestants, by entering the contest, agree to be bound by the above rules and regulations.
