The Pennsylvania Sire Stakes would like to re-emphasize that each of the 2008 pari-mutuel Sire Stakes Championship events will also have a consolation event for that division.
The consolations will be for the next-highest point earners that declare in but do not reach the final. These consolations are racing for a purse of $20,000 each, and there is no entry fee to get in a consolation.
The three-year-old Sire Stakes Championships are to be raced Sunday, September 7 at Chester Downs. The two-year-old events will take place on Tuesday, September 23 at the Meadows.
Connections are advised that if they have a sire stakes contender, it would be good to check with the respective race offices for the actual draw day and times.
