Blair Greenfield of Brantford, ON and Don Smith of Hampton, ON are the winners of the Last Chance Handicapping contest sponsored by Trot Magazine held this past weekend.
Greenfield and Smith will join the field of 50 contestants in this Saturday's Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship at Woodbine where one individual will walk away with $25,000 in cash.
The Last Chance Handicapping Contest asked 15 questions related to this past Saturday's racing programs from across the country. Greenfield answered correctly in seven of the 15 categories, while Smith scored six correct answers and won a tiebreaker by guessing Woodbine's Saturday handle within $3,000 of the actual total.
The questions tested players on everything from the number of nose wins to the drivers with the most wins to the winning time of the night's fastest horse.
