Horsemen Jacques Robert Roy of Dartmouth, NS passed away at home on November 12 at the age of 76.
Born in Pike River, QC, Roy was the son of the late Philippe and Eline (Corriveau) Roy. He was a 12-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, business owner of Twilight TV Ltd. of Dartmouth and an avid horseman.
Jacques was predeceased by son, Christian Roy, and is survived by his children, Jean, Manon, Andree, Pierre and Jacques (Vincent) Roy, as well as, his 15 grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, in Dartmouth Funeral Home, Rev. Patricia Malin officiating.
