Emily Gaskin, the 2014 USHWA Breakthrough Award winner, first made her name as the owner of a pacer named Jammin Joshua. Purchased for just $300, the five-year-old has now bankrolled almost $590,000 to date. In addition to being hands-on with her pacer in the stable of her father, Ernie, Gaskin primarily handles publicity and marketing for Hoosier Park. She also hosts the in-house television show, and works as a casino host when the racing side of Hoosier is dark.
