Harness Racing PEI and the PEI Colts Stakes have announced changes to the upcoming stakes events calendar at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The new schedule will feature the two and three-year-old trotters along with the three-year-old pacing colts on Thursday, September 18. First race post time is 7:00 p.m.
The two-year-old colts and fillies and the three-year-old fillies will appear on Saturday, September 20. First race post time is 1:00 p.m.
The weekend will also feature a Sunday afternoon program. First race post time is 1:00 p.m.
Officials made the schedule change due to the season opener of the PEI Rocket of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The team's season begins Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Charlottetown Civic Center.
