It’s been a long time coming, but the new broadcast centre at Rideau Carleton Raceway is set to open Tuesday, December 2.
Located at the south end of the clubhouse dining room, the new facility will house the set for the 'Bettors Edge Live,' as well as serve as the announcer's booth.
By relocating to a more high visibility location, it is hoped that the new studios will allow for more interaction between the hosts and the fans. The new broadcast centre is in close proximity to the winners circle and should make for easier access to the drivers, trainers and owners of winning horses.
In all, it is hoped that the new broadcast centre will make for entertaining and informative racing television.
Bear with us while the last minute kinks are ironed out. We promise the new broadcasts will be anything but dull!
