Nominations are now being accepted in the Kawartha Downs race office for Horseperson of the Year, Female Caretaker of the Year and Male Caretaker of the Year.
The finalist will be voted on at the KD Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 7, 2009. The final day for nominations is Saturday, December 20, 2008, Kawartha's final live card of the year
