Fans who make the trip to Mohawk Racetrack this Saturday night will not only have the chance to watch some of the best trotters and pacers in the world, they will also have the opportunity to compete for $10,000 in cash.

As part of the Metro Pace / Breeders Crown program, Mohawk is offering a handicapping challenge in Races 3 through 9 with the winner garnering $6,000 in cash. The runner up will receive $2,000; the third-place finisher $1,250, and the fourth-place finisher will walk away with $750.

You have to be at Mohawk Saturday night to participate, and competition ballots will be available in the on-track race program.

Also on Saturday night, Mark MacDonald, two-time O'Brien Award winner as Canada's Driver of the Year, will join Greg Blanchard and Mike Hamilton for another 'Talking Track' seminar beginning at 6:00 p.m.

MacDonald won last year's Breeders Crown Mares Pace with Moving Pictures and will have another strong lineup this year.

More than $3 million will be given out in purses on Saturday night as part of a power-packed lineup which includes four Breeders Crown championships for the older trotters and pacers, the $672,000 Shes A Great Lady and $1 million Metro Pace for two-year-old colts.
