Former President and Chief Operating Officer of Horse Racing Alberta Andy Bryant lost his courageous battle to cancer on Saturday, January 24
.
Funeral arrangements will take place on Wednesday, January 28th at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1307-14th Street S.W., Calgary, Alta.
Bryant took leave of his position with HRA in May 2008 after being diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus.
A trust fund has been established for Andy's son Sean and daughter Tessa. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Andy's wife Terrie, and all their family. Trot Insider will post additional information as it becomes available.

I know Andy is a lot more comfortable where he is now but it is so tough for the family. May God bless the family as all things happen for a reason, sometimes it is hard to figure out "WHY"????
