Tickets are still available for the Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association’s 2009 Awards Banquet, which will be held Saturday, January 17 at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, Ontario
.
The evening will include an information seminar on the new Ontario Resident Mare Program within the Horse Improvement Program and a discussion on the new testing practices and standards for steroids.
This Seminar will commence at 5:00 p.m. The scheduled speakers are John Blakney and Wendy Hoogeveen from the ORC as well as veterinarian Dr. Mike Weber.
The cocktail reception begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Awards Dinner at 7:00 p.m. The annual Stallion and Silent Auction will take place throughtout the evening.
Performing at this year's SBOA Awards Banquet will be the Charles Street Band.
