Longtime horseman Forrest Jeffrey Lancaster passed away suddenly at the age of 47 on April 20
in White Rock, BC.
Lancaster was born into a horse racing family in the Ottawa valley area. He trained and drove in Ontario and Saskatchewan before settling in British Columbia. Lancaster then became a computer technician, but still dabbled with the horses.
He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his common-law wife Christen Marcotte, and brothers Burt (Barbara), Rick (Leslie), Ronald, John, Art (Angela), David, Jim (Louise), Robert and former wife Lorna Acker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gracepoint Community Church, 3487 King George Hwy., White Rock, BC on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. Please make contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.

I knew Jeff when he was at
I knew Jeff when he was at Dresden Raceway. He was a friend of my brother. He jogged horses for a few people so we bought him a helmet for his birthday since all he talked about was driving horses. He did buy a horse that did well at Flamboro and the last I heard he was going to BC to work for his brother. We are sorry for your loss. He was a nice person. Madeline Bush
