Harness Racing's Best of the Decade (2010 - 2019) - Breeder

Harness Racing's Breeder of the Decade (2010-2019)

On any given night, at any racetrack in North America, the name 'Hanover' is prevalent in the race program. If not tacked onto the name of a racehorse, you'll find the suffix on the sire or dam, or Hanover Shoe Farms will be listed as the breeder on numerous performers. There's a reason why many consider Hanover to be 'the greatest name in harness racing.'

The Pennsylvania nursery continues to produce champion racehorses year after year, decade after decade. Since the USTA began compiling breeder's statistics, Hanover Shoe Farms has led the annual money-earning charts every year. Hanover ended the decade with $305,277,020 in earnings, easily besting Winbak Farm ($211 million).

Stars from the 2010s bred by Hanover Shoe Farms include 2017 Horse of the Year Hannelore Hanover ($3,303,952), 2019 O'Brien Award finalist and near double millionaire Caviart Ally ($1,956,238), 2017 Little Brown Jug winner Filibuster Hanover ($1,744,663) and 2015 North America Cup winner Wakizashi Hanover ($1,597,224).
