A four-year old unvaccinated Quarter Horse mare from Bruce County, Ontario developed mild neurological signs due to West Nile Virus on August 27.
Currently, the mare is receiving veterinary treatment. In 2017, the total number of confirmed WNV cases in Ontario is 7.
