Officials with Hollywood Dayton Raceway have provided some details regarding its upcoming meet of live racing, which is scheduled to kick off this coming Monday (September 12).
The draw for the opening-day program at Hollywood Dayton Raceway (Monday, September 12) will take place Thursday afternoon (September 8) with the entry box closing at 2:00 p.m. Trainers are urged to enter online, or call entries to 937-235-7860 between noon and 2:00 p.m.
Now entering its third year of operation, Hollywood Dayton Raceway will present afternoon matinees on Mondays and Tuesdays in addition to evening cards on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Average daily purse distribution is projected to be approximately 40 per cent higher than in 2015.
The draw for the second program on Tuesday afternoon will take place Friday afternoon of this week, followed by a Saturday afternoon draw for the Thursday night card.
All trainers are required to submit 2016 ship-in applications; and all trainers and drivers need to sign a Waiver of Liability form before participating. The forms are available for downloading at hollywooddaytonraceway.com or can be picked up in the race office lobby. They can be filled out and turned in on each participant’s first race day of the new season.
