No tickets hit the Pick 5 wager on Friday, Sept. 5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway, leading to a $4,035.67 carryover and a $15,000 guaranteed pool in Saturday night’s sequence.
The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The Pick 5, which begins in race five and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20 per cent.
Yonkers Raceway’s normal Monday/Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday live racing schedule will have some upcoming deviations. Yonkers will have a program next Wednesday, Sept. 10 and will be dark next Friday, Sept. 12 in preparation for the $1 million USD MGM Yonkers International Trot on Saturday, Sept 13. Wednesday racing will also take place on Sept. 17 as part of a Monday-Saturday six-day slate.
