Time is closing in on the chance to bid on some great items in support of the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.
Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the auction at legendsdayauction.com. Registration is quick and easy, and the available items have a staggered closing time, beginning today, Friday September 4 at 5:00 p.m. with the entire auction wrapping up by 7:00 p.m.
Bidders can look forward to such items as condo rentals, a Forest City Yearling Sale credit, Western Fair passes with accommodation, Leafs vs. Senators tickets, gift baskets, cottage rentals, vacation packages and more. All of the money raised through the auction will go to support the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, in addition to the Legends Day event being held at Clinton Raceway this Sunday, September 6, first race post time 1:30 p.m.
Since its inception in 2001, the gathering of hall of fame drivers at Clinton Raceway has helped to raise over $130,000 for various groups and charities. This year, John Campbell, Doug Brown, Mike Lachance, Bill O'Donnell, Steve Condren, Dave Wall, Ray Remmen and Ron Waples will drive in the $15,000 Legends Invitational Trot and join Keith Waples and Bud Fritz in an autograph session during the afternoon.
