Western Fair Raceway is preparing for the start of its fall meet, which gets underway on Friday, October 15

.

Condition sheets are now available for both programs on the opening weekend, Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16.

The race office will be open as of Thursday, October 7 and the track will also open that day for training.

The first qualifying session will take place on Friday, October 15 starting at 11:00 a.m.

Western Fair is the host of this year’s Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Championships, and eliminations for those will dominate the opening weekend programs. All eight $100,000 finals will take place, along with the eliminations for the Forest City Pace, on Saturday, October 23.

HPItv will cover the full cards of Western Fair’s first two Saturday programs, October 16 and 23, as well as selected races from Friday, October 15. Opening night will also mark the debut of the track’s new announcer, Greg Blanchard, who joined Western Fair as assistant raceway manager last week.

As always, program pages and live video coverage for Western Fair race cards are available on the WFR website.
