Depending upon how his veteran pacer performs on Saturday (Sept. 4) at Hiawatha Horse Park, Cameron McQueen could be receiving some presents from his brother and sister-in-law in the winner's circle.
Meghan and Stewart McQueen are supporters of the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society and will be presenting a cooler with the OSAS and COSA logos, along with other gifts to the winner of Saturday’s OSAS 25th Anniversary Race, carded as race six.
Cameron’s pacer is the 10-year-old Moon Beam mare E R Rhonda, who will be making her 249th lifetime start on Saturday. A winner of more than $300,000 in her career, E R Rhonda has been claimed an incredible 30 times, and she boasts a summary of 3-4-4 to date this year.
Hiawatha’s post time on Saturday is 1 p.m., with the OSAS race slated to head out at approximately 2:40 p.m. E R Rhonda will leave from post four with Tyler Borth aboard. The rest of the field, from the rail out, is: Miss Sinfonia, Azalea Seelster, Cafe Society, Zarconia Seelster, Write About Laura and Paisa Hanover.
