Officials at Truro Raceway have carefully put together a safe season that has benefitted the horsepeople of the Maritimes and encouraged fan engagement even with limitations on gatherings due to COVID-19.
The slow start to the season was tough on many in the industry and the staff at Truro Raceway wants to thank everyone for their patience and support along the way.
Construction and renovations to the grandstand limit the ability to extend the racing season so Truro Raceway has decided to increase purse amounts for the remainder of the existing race dates. This will ensure that participants receive the benefit of a full seasons-worth of earnings and that the safety of our fans and families continues to be paramount.
