Hollywood Dayton Raceway is reminding horsepeople that the draw for Saturday night (Oct. 3) will take place on Tuesday morning and the box will close at 10 a.m.
The program includes the Dayton Trotting Derby, the Dayton Pacing Derby and the Dayton Distaff Pacing Derby. The program also features the eight championship races of the Buckeye Stallion Series.
Three undercard Opens will also be carded for $25,000 (min.) purses. The Mares Open Pace and the Open Trot look like they will feature local and regional horses, as it is not likely there will be six derby nominees in either race that do not get into the main event.
