If some of the scenes in tomorrow evening’s episode of Flashpoint look familiar, it’s because the episode of the Canadian police drama series was filmed this past winter at Georgian Downs.
Flashpoint, which has entered its fifth and final season, will air on CTV this Thursday, September 27 at 10:00 p.m.
The show focuses on a fictional elite tactical unit – the Strategic Response Unit (SRU), within a Canadian Metropolitan police force (styled on the Toronto Police Emergency Task Force). The SRU are tasked to resolve an extreme hostage taking situation. Equipped with high tech tools and a cache of weapons and explosives, members of the team use negotiations and intuition to try to avoid the use of deadly force.
The episode will also air on CBS in the U.S. through Ion Television.
